Ohrozim lies near Plumlov Reservoir. The Čubernice Nature Monument lies north of the reservoir near the village and has remains of a prehistoric hillfort from the Late Stone Age.

The first written mention of Ohrozim dates to 1131 and appears in purchase contracts of the Olomouc chapter. The village has a Neo-Romanesque Church of St Wenceslas, dating from the mid-19th century and reconstructed in 2003–2004. A sandstone statue of St Florian from 1828 stands in the village square and has been listed as a cultural monument since 1958.
