Flower delivery in Velký Týnec from a local florist
Velký Týnec lies about 8 km south-east of Olomouc. The village stands where the Týnečka and Beroňka streams meet. It also includes Čechovice and Vsisko.
The first written mention of the village dates to 1207, in a charter of King Přemysl Otakar I. The Baroque chateau replaced a Gothic fortress and was altered after a fire in 1779. A pavilion dating from 1755, with frescoes, stands in the chateau garden. About 1.5 km east of the village centre, Hradisko was the site of an early medieval hillfort; a monument marking the foundation of the republic, erected in 1921, stands there today.
Svatý Mořic is based in Prostějov. From there, it delivers bouquets to Velký Týnec.
A bouquet can be delivered to the recipient at home or at work, wherever they are at the time. Possible destinations in the village include the municipal office in the chateau, the primary school or nursery school, and the surgeries of adult and paediatric GPs and a dentist. At a community event, the community hall, with its large and small halls, could also be a delivery destination.
