Flowers Delivered to Věrovany from Prostějov

The municipality of Věrovany is near Olomouc. Since 1952, it has comprised three parts: Věrovany, Rakodavy and Nenakonice.

The first mention of Věrovany dates to 1131. The chapel of St Francis Xavier stands in the cemetery in Věrovany, and the municipality lists it among its landmarks. Count Oedt, provost of the Olomouc chapter, had the château in Nenakonice built in the first half of the 18th century; it is now inaccessible.
