Flower delivery in Slatinice from a local florist

Slatinice lies in the Olomouc District at the eastern foot of Mount Velký Kosíř. The municipality consists of two parts: Slatinice and Lípy. The first written mention of the municipality dates back to 1247.

According to the municipality, Slatinice Spa is the oldest spa in Moravia. Doctor Tomáš Jordán described the healing effects of the local sulphur spring in 1580. The spa focuses on treating musculoskeletal conditions and uses natural, moderately mineralised water containing hydrogen sulphide. The wooden lookout tower on Mount Velký Kosíř opened in 2013, and a yellow hiking trail leads to it from Slatinice railway station.
