Flower delivery in Tršice from a local florist
Tršice lies in the Tršice Upland. It is about 13 km as the crow flies east-south-east of Olomouc and 10 km north of Přerov. The municipality also comprises Hostkovice, Lipňany, Přestavlky, Vacanovice and Zákřov.
The oldest surviving written record of Tršice dates to 1282, and the settlement was granted market-town status in 1526. The castle developed from a Gothic fortress and was acquired by the bishopric of Olomouc in 1568. It has been a cultural monument since 1958. The Neo-Baroque parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was built in 1905–1906 on the site of a Gothic church demolished in 1904. An artificial waterfall about three metres high lies on the Olešnice stream below the overflow of the castle pond.
Svatý Mořic is based in Prostějov and offers flower delivery to Tršice.
